I’ve listed them below. Don’t bother with any other fancy products or even variations and add-ons to the items on this list – trust me it’s a waste of your hard earned dollars!
Litter Necessities
Good clumping litter (not flushable)
Frugal Favorite: Scoop immediately and use paper lunch bags for kitty waste

Frugal Favorite: A crumpled piece of paper provides hours of enjoyment
Shedding Control
Frugal Favorite: Wipe your cat with a slightly dampened paper towel daily and use rubber gloves on the furniture to remove pet hair

Great blog! I second the recommendation for Nature’s Miracle– that stuff really is a lifesaver. I’ve never had a cat but it has removed countless puppy “mistakes” from white carpet… even works great for other spills.
