Hurricane Ike has devastated many parts of the Texas coast, and has left many to return to nothing. Animals have also been affected by the tragedy, and are in need of your help. the Houston SPCA has rescued many animals, however many of these animals have gone unclaimed. In Austin, Southpaws Playschool is sheltering seven dogs from the Gulf Coast Bully Breed Group, who have lost their homes due to the hurricane. Southpaws is looking for help to get these dogs into foster homes. If you are able to help, you are encouraged to call 512-440-7529.

Hello. I am active in dog rescue in Japan. Hurricane is terrible. I hope that lots of pets can find foster home and be happy.
