Ladies, we thought we had it bad when it came to the birthing process but lucky for us we tend to have one child at a time. This was not the case for Stephanie Pino’s Great Dane who was expected to give birth to about a dozen puppies. Instead, on September 11th, Pino’s dog gave birth to 16 pups. That’s right you read it correctly - 16 pups all in one 20 hour session of labor.

Thankfully, Pino’s pups are a healthy bunch and now weigh 12 to 15 pounds each and will be ready for adoption when they reach 10 weeks old.
