PetKnows is a blog written by humans who think they know a thing or two about pets, but from time to time are shown that their pets may be all the wiser.

PetKnows covers the woofwonderful world of dogs and the meowmific universe of cats in addition to any other animal tracks that cross their blogging paths. Enjoy off-the-leash commentary about everything pet related from the newest pet toys and pet foods to media coverage of the latest pet-related articles and industry news.

The PetKnows contributors are made up of a team of pet lovers who work together at a marketing firm based in Arlington, VA. The contributors are:

Claudia is the proud mom of a 14-year-old Catahoula mix named Mosby.

Abby is the mother of the cutest kitty ever, Matilda.

J-Coll is proudly owned by two elderly, but spunky kitties - the princess Siamese, Lilly, and the tomcat tabby, Darby.

Media Mutt is in charge of the weekly media digests and covering anything on the pet scene.

James’ current kid is a five-year old Labrador Retriever named Chuck who commands the couch and the castle.

Carrie’s family currently has a Golden Retriever named Hobie! He is 12 years old and still has his puppy charm! She is actively trying to get her fiancé to get her a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for Christmas.

The Crazy Bird Lady shares her life with two parrots: a sun conure named Stewie and a white capped pionus named Mika. She also blogs about parrots at Best in Flock and contributes to LifeOfPis.com.

Laura is the proud owner of a boxer/pitbull/lab mix with a bad hip but a good heart!

Maggie regularly enjoys a dog pile featuring two British golden retrievers named Belle and Bodie and sometimes a black lab names Sadie that she and her brother brought home from college - surprise to the parents!

Meg is the humble property of a half-Marine Coon, half-demon creature named Icarus. He has more to say than she does, but lacks opposable thumbs, so she his forced to do his typing for him.

Chrissy surrounds herself with four-legged friends whenever possible through volunteer opportunities at local animal shelters (Washington Humane Society), as well as caring for animals while their humans are away on vacation.
